CIJE STEAM Middle School (CSLS)
The CIJE-STEAM Middle School (CSMS) Program enhances student interest in STEAM and exposure to engineering through hands-on experiences. Learning the fundamentals of engineering provides the foundation needed for deeper learning in science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics (STEAM).
The curriculum includes small group collaborative work, hands-on activities, and experiments to promote inquiry and curiosity. Learning is connected to the real world through an emphasis on the application of STEAM subjects to everyday life, employment, and the surrounding environment.
