Purim Minecraft Challenge
Get ready to design, build, and create! Join our Minecraft storytelling competition inspired by the Megillah and showcase your creativity in crafting the ultimate storyboard. Bring the city of Shushan and story of Esther to life as you build scenes to capture the essence of the Megillah! Consider scale (size), design, and flow as you retell the Megillah in Minecraft.
After all the submissions are in, there will be a virtual event with live gameplay, an award ceremony, and a raffle.
Submissions are due by March 20, 2025.
The prizes:
- First-place: The winning maze will be featured in our Zoom award ceremony. The designer will receive an Amazon gift card and a certificate of achievement.
- Second place: The runner-up will win an Amazon gift card and a certificate of achievement.
- Every participant will be entered in a raffle for prizes, including grab bags and Amazon gift cards.
Scoring categories:
- Depth of Theme: Your project must depict at least 5 scenes from the Megillah.
- Creativity: You should use different types of blocks, obstacles, and environments to enhance your retelling of the Megillah story.
- Functionality: Ensure players move seamlessly through your project.
- Advanced: Use of coding, commands, NPCs and redstone in your story.
