Utilizing an array of microphones, it pinpoints the direction of sound, providing clear directional cues. This minimizes confusion in many diverse environments. |
Engineering for Children | 563-Kinder Reminder – BY Baltimore | The small act of forgetting a child in a car/stroller can lead to injury or worse. In our project, A FSR will be placed under a car/ stroller seat. If caregivers move a certain distance away from the child, a RF enabled keychain will alert them that they left their child behind. |
Engineering for Entertainment and the Arts | 568-Musician’s Page-Turner – HANC | In long performances, musicians require sheet music. With the issue of page turning, they need to either frantically turn pages or hire a person to turn pages. We have designed a device that will turn pages for the musician with a simple nod of the head. |
Engineering for Healthcare | 254-H2Orb – SSLI | H2Orb is a remote controlled vehicle that is sent into a housefire before the firefighters to help stop collateral damage and deescalate the intensity of the fire, creating a safer situation for the firefighters to find those stuck in the building. |
Engineering for Jewish Life | 381-Tefillin Guardian – HAFTR | This product checks if your Tefillin condition is Kosher according to Jewish law. A humidity and temperature sensor that will detect if the humidity levels of temperature levels are off. You will be warned if this happens so you know the conditions that your tefillin is in. |
Engineering for Older Adults | 290-EchoAid – Golda Och | too many people are hard of hearing and can afford hearing aids. to solve this problem we are creating a cheap alternative to hearing aids that will amplify sound into headphones and transcribe conversations to be looked back on later. |
Engineering for Personal Care | 372-The Perfect Pump – HAFTR | Have you ever been in the shower and noticed that you ran out of your conditioner/shampoo/face wash? We are creating The Perfect Pump- a new container for all of your hygiene products that will remind you when you need to refill on your products through an app! |
Engineering for Pets | 377-NIBBL – Frisch | NIBBL is an automatic dog feeder designed to solve the problem of feeding multiple pets enough food. It uses a load cell to track how much food each pet eats and a Husky Lens to recognize which dog is at the bowl, making sure everyone gets the right amount of food. |
Engineering for School | 439-FaceVault – SAR | FaceVault is a sleek, modern locker system for students, featuring built-in biometric facial recognition. It blends advanced tech with a compact, user-friendly design, offering secure and stylish personal storage for schools and campuses. |
Engineering for Transportation | 363-AutoLIFT – Frisch | There is a severe lack of affordable solutions for helping disabled people load items into their car by themselves, which can be very difficult. Our product, AutoLIFT, is a low-cost, easy to use robotic arm that can be installed in the back of your car that solves this issue. |
Engineering for Workplace Solutions | 604-ProForm – Bruriah | ProForm is a smart belt for workers lifting and carrying heavy loads that utilizes multiple sensors to detect incorrect lifting posture and a screen to give you appropriate corrections. ProForm allows for workers to get real time feedback and avoid injury. |
Engineering Household Solutions | 291-ClickPal – Golda Och | Television remotes are constntly being misplaced, lost, or even hidden; with our remote finder all you have to do is attach a simple compact device to your remote (or really anything!), log into our website, and use bluetooth to marco polo your way to your remote. |
Environmental Engineering | 431-Smart Bin – BCHA | Almost 76 percent of all recycling ends up in landfills and/or the ocean. Our solution is to create an AI-powered trash bin that seamlessly sorts different types of recyclable materials from trash. |
Assistive Technology | 324-SpeakEasy-Davis Renov Stahler Yeshiva High School | Many individuals who rely on sign language face communication barriers in everyday life. SpeakEasy solves this by using flex sensors and speech synthesis to instantly translate American Sign Language gestures into spoken words. |
Engineering for Children | 219-WashPal: Golda Och Academy High School- | Proper handwashing is a critical issue, especially for children, because improper handwashing causes deadly, preventable diseases impacting millions. Addressing this through an engaging, low-cost product will save lives globally, particularly in low-income facilities. |
Engineering for Entertainment and the Arts | 560-Musical Mind Reader-Shulamith High School for Girls | The Musical Mind Reader is a musical note detecting device which helps musicians write down their notes in sheet music. It detects frequencies and displays them as musical notes on sheet music on an HTML website. |
Engineering for Healthcare | 368-Bye Bye Butterflies; -Shevach | Children with ADHD and ASD struggle with anxiety in overwhelming situations and have no way to calm themselves in public unnoticeably. Our team created a sweater that anticipates stress and responds with 3D music vibrations that immediately calm down the user. |
Engineering for Jewish Life | 216-The Mikvah Monitor-The Frisch School | Mikvaot need to have an automated way of being monitored to alleviate the burden placed on mikvah attendants who have to constantly check on the kashrut status of the mikvah. |
Engineering for Mobility | 427-The Performance Insole-Scheck Hillel Community School | This project addresses the problem of uneven weight distribution during walking and standing, which can hinder recovery and cause long-term injury. The solution is a smart insole equipped with force sensors that monitor balance to support physical therapy and posture correction. |
Engineering for Older Adults | 516-Foot Fusion-Talmudical Academy of Baltimore Mesivta High School | Tens of millions suffer from chronic foot pain, yet there are barely any products made to treat it — and all of them use weak LED therapy that doesn’t work. We’ve integrated real lasers into a wearable shoe to finally offer a solution that actually helps. |

How can we ensure that our clients sleep in a suitable environment that maximizes their sleep quality and helps them be their best selves throughout the day? |
Engineering for Pets | 447-BetterBowl-Bi-Cultural Hebrew Academy HS | Many pet owners struggle to monitor their pets’ health or prevent food sharing in multi-pet households. The BetterBowl solves this by using RFID technology to restrict access, track weight and food intake, and alert owners through a mobile app. |
Engineering for School | 251-Class Calm-Golda Och Academy High School | The problem we have identified is the high noise level of students, which disrupts the classroom. The product that we are developing to address this issue is a traffic light that displays red and green lights. Helping the students engage in class and lowering the noise. |
Engineering for Transportation | 323-TTT- The Train Traffic Tracker-Mesorah High School | Train Traffic Tracker addresses the problem of subway overcrowding by providing real-time data on passenger density and seat availability. Our sensor-based system empowers safer, more efficient, and accessible commutes for all riders. |
Engineering for Workplace Solutions | 360-AeroShift-Scheck Hillel Community School | The air vents in commercial spaces face people directly or not at all. These spaces, including homes, may have high ceilings or be unwilling to adjust in front of guests. Our design, the AeroShift, uses a remote to control the direction as well as the pressure of air flow. |

Engineering for Healthcare | 553-Glooky – Shevach | Diabetics are inconvenienced when regulating nocturnal hypoglycemia. We aim to create an automated juice dispenser connected to diabetics’ CGM devices that alerts and releases juice when diabetics’ blood sugar levels get too low. |
Engineering for Jewish Life | 277-HaMivarech – DRS | Reciting the correct bracha is central to Jewish practice, bringing mindfulness and gratitude. Yet, halachic complexity and modern food diversity can make it hard. המברך uses advanced technology to identify foods and say the right bracha, making this mitzvah easier to accomplish. |

Engineering for Pets | 205-Connected Collar – SKA | Many pet owners had major problems with tracking dog collars not working properly. I decided to fix this problem by creating an easy to set up tracking dog collar that is Wi-Fi free included with a microphone system allowing you to talk to someone who might have found your dog. |
Engineering for School | 440-Trackpass – NSHA | Trackpass helps prevent constant interruptions from students asking to use the bathroom through fingerprint scans. Trackpass also provides teachers with a web interface for keeping track of bathroom logs. |
Engineering for Transportation | 468-ParkItUp – Shulamith | The struggle of using parking lots and parking garages. We are building a smart parking lot that will be beneficial to all drivers, no matter the size of your car. ParkItUp will help driving and parking more efficient. |
Engineering for Workplace Solutions | 348-Refill Reminder – Frisch | Public restrooms often run out of necessities such as soap, toilet paper, and paper towels, leaving people in uncomfortable situations. To solve this we created Refill Reminder, a series of easy to implement sensors which alert janitorial staff when supplies are running low. |
Engineering Household Solutions | 338-ShelfHelp – Frisch | ShelfHelp solves the problem of forgotten and wasted food by tracking expiration dates. By scanning barcodes, it counts down shelf life and shows updates on a screen and app to keep users informed in real time. |

Assistive Technology | 453-E-Caddy – Leffell | The E-Caddy is a personalized smart golf bag that uses GPS technology to decide on which club to use in golf on the course(the bag pushes the club up for you). This is achieved using a GPS, an LCD to display the information, and linear actuators to push the clubs up. |

Engineering for Workplace Solutions | 527-F.R.I.E.S – Berman | Sorting french fries by hand is inefficient, especially from stores who need to split up bulk sized bags and doing it manually is a waste of valuable employee time. FRIES uses a servo, an Arduino, and a load cell to measure french fries and split them into smaller bags. |
