Guest Speaker: Dr. Rena Gelb
Dr. Gelb brings over 13 years of experience as a passionate and seasoned educator in STEM subjects. As the Head Teacher for Mathematics, Science, Engineering, and Robotics at Bais Yaakov Bnos Aliya, Dr. Gelb has seamlessly integrated innovative CIJE curricula, including 3D printing, CSMS, and Bytes, to empower her students. Her extensive expertise in mathematics education, paired with her unique approach to connecting theoretical knowledge with real-world applications, makes her a leading voice in STEM education for young women. Dr. Gelb holds a PhD in Mathematics Education from Teachers College, where she studied with the field’s leading scholars.

Dr. Barbara Gereboff has been a valuable member of CIJE since 2016, bringing a wealth of experience in educational leadership. Before joining CIJE, Dr. Gereboff served as Head of School at Wornick Jewish Day School from 2010 and previously held leadership roles at Solomon Schechter Day School in Phoenix, Arizona. Her extensive background includes positions as Education Director at Camp Ramah in Ojai and Program Director of the Bureau of Jewish Education in Phoenix. With over a decade as the Head of School at Kadima Hebrew Academy in West Hills, California, Dr. Gereboff is a seasoned educator deeply committed to advancing Jewish and STEM education.
