Chanukah Minecraft Challenge

Get ready to design, build, and create in this Minecraft Maze competition inspired by the Menorah! 
 
Showcase your creativity in crafting the ultimate hunt. Players should collect “8 candles” along the way in a themed maze. The maze should be Chanukah-themed, include at least eight different elements related to Chanukah, and be able to be completed in 5 minutes or less.
 
After all the submissions are in, there will be a virtual event with live gameplay, an award ceremony, and a raffle!

Submissions are due by January 6, 2025.

The scoring categories are:

  • Depth of Theme: Your parkour course must incorporate elements of Chanukah, such as a menorah, latkes, dreidels, and festive decorations.

  • Creativity: Use different types of blocks, obstacles, and environments to make your maze exciting and challenging.

  • Length: The maze course should have at least 8 levels. 

  • Functionality: Ensure the maze/hunt can be completed in under 5 minutes.

  • Redstone: Use of coding in your maze

Compete for the fun of it and prizes

  • First-place will be featured in our Zoom award ceremony. The designer will receive a $25 Amazon gift card and a certificate of achievement.
  • Second-place will get a $25 Amazon gift card and a certificate of achievement.
  • Every participant will be entered in a raffle for prizes, including grab bags and Amazon gift cards.
