3D Dreidel Winners!
We’re thrilled to share the winners of our 3D Printed Dreidel Challenge, a unique initiative that blended creativity, engineering, and Jewish innovation.
The competition invited students to design and 3D print their own dreidels using CAD software, with opportunities to win Amazon gift cards across four categories:
- Artistic Excellence: Most visually appealing design
- Originality: Most unique and creative concept
- Endurance: Longest spinning dreidel
- Innovative Use: Most creative alternative functionality
When students were given an open-ended prompt within certain criteria, their creations surpassed the boundaries of our imagination.
The winners in each category are:
- Artistic Excellence: Dreidel in a Dreidel Illusion by Jeremy Kamelhar (North Shore Hebrew Academy High School)
- Originality: Drawing Dreidel by Avigail Kundin (Manhattan High School), and Beyblade Dreidel by Moshe Ariel Nassimi (North Shore)
- Innovative: Ring Toss Dreidel by Shua Kotlarsky (Desert Torah Academy), and Pencil/Eraser Dreidel by Daniel Parente (Desert Torah Academy)
- Endurance: Longevity Dreidel by Gavi Bendicoff (Atlanta Jewish Academy)
All 40 dreidel designs from students in 11 schools truly exceeded our expectations, and we hope you’re just as impressed as we are!
